I'm Ulla. I've been sewing for as long as I can remember – for myself, out of everything I find, because throwing things away was never an option.

In 2018, I turned that into Beverly Berlin. Not because there was a master plan, but because I was fed up with fashion that nobody needs and that doesn't dress anyone.

What I do
I take discarded ties, old shirts, packing blankets, vintage fabrics – and turn them into unique pieces that tell a story. Each piece is created in my own studio in Berlin. Handmade. One-of-a-kind. Here to stay.

Why I do it
Because the challenge of creating something new from something old is pure joy. Because resources aren't trash. Because fast fashion is the sister of cr*p. And because I want to prove: slow is cooler. That's why every piece from Beverly Berlin is crafted from already worn materials – reducing textile waste, one unique piece at a time.
